I'm running various interm builds as development platform, atleast on x86 it's running without too much problems now (just one misbehaving plugin left), didn't have the time to test out a 64 bit build.
So next build will run alot better/fine but i can't give you any details when that will be available publicly.

It seems to work just fine on Vista RC2(5744) with my display(KS0108). Except ExtendedTime and NetworkStats plugin that do not start.

Can you verify you have MSVCR80.DLL somewhere in your path? (copy in the same dir as studio if needed)
